INfifteen - what is it?
It’s a series of my random thoughts put into a simple design that requires 15 min or less to make. Note the times. Why 15? B/c that’s how long I usually take breaks from my work when I need to just clear my mind from the task at hand.
They’re not meant to be fancy … just meant to evoke the thoughts I’ve held at those particular times.
These pictures were taken my first day in California (Sept. 29, 2009). I left my home in Chicago around 3:30 am and arrived to Burbank Airport around 9:30 am. It’s been over a month now and I feel like this is a great to just document for reflection later on. To see more (non-INfifteen) photos, just click here.

I’m not sure if this photoshop or crazy stunt pictures … I get the feeling that it’s 50/50, but Artist Liwei is known thruout China for his crazy stunts. Check out his website.
Before I explain why this clip of incubus has just restored my faith in them … I should explain that for the past few years I’ve been quite disappointed with their work. Maybe I just didn’t understand it enough, but the past 2 albums were so unsatisfying in comparison to their previous work.
NOW … that being said … after watching this clip, I’ve come to realize that incubus still has it … “deep inside” … it’s there.
how can anyone deny Kenny & his kimchi chigeh?
vision for MAJ: a network / orchestra of musicians & performers … no single highlighted act, many talented people collaborating and switching for the sake of each song. it’s hard to fully articulate, but I chose this picture b/c it shows the importance of each musician, yet gives room for anonymity.
Lately my mind has struggled with the reality of school. Not having a BFA has really set me back in terms of applying for grad school. That is until …
I read about RISD’s digital media masters program. They apparently offer a 2-yr course for BFA students and a 3-yr course for non-BFA students, both curriculi set to cover all required material & knowledge. AWESOME. Right?
But it’s the east coast … and after DC, I never really gave the east coast a thought.
So I thought, “If RISD’s got this, Art Center should have something similar.”
Sure enough, they have this program called, “Graduate Media Design” … which is an amazing program. I’m more stoaked to get west and start on this application journey. I know I’ll need more $ and portfolio work, but it’s worth it if I graduate from there.

I'm a graphic designer & musician currently residing in Los Angeles, CA. I aim to love life and vis versa. Sometimes I need to spit out a line, other times I just need to be a mime.
